Five people airlifted from Lahaul-Spiti district by special helicopter service

Five people were airlifted from Lahaul-Spiti district by special helicopter service started by the state government on Saturday.

Kullu(Himachal Pradesh):Five people were airlifted from Lahaul-Spiti district by special helicopter service started by the state government on Saturday.

These people were reportedly sick and waited more than an hour for an ambulance to arrive. As the patient's condition started deteriorating, a special helicopter service was provided.

The family of the patients filed a complaint against the ambulance service for failing to provide the service on time.

Ashok Kumar, Liaison Officer (State Helicopter Services) said that the people were dropped at Bhunter airport in Kullu district. (With inputs from ANI)
