Seeing the deteriorating health of Netaji, he was released. After this Netaji came to Dalhousie with his friend Dr Dharamvir. He stayed in the residence of Dr. Dharamvir Kayans Estate Bungalow for about 6 months. He was also given a grand welcome when he arrived here at that time.
Bose used to drink spring water
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose took health care by staying here. During this, Netaji used to go daily to a natural spring, 3 km from there. The leader used to drink only the water of the perennial spring. Under the cool winds of deodar, Netaji became fully healthy. Since then, this spring was named after Subhash 'Baoli' after Netaji.
