Threat to blow up railway tracks in Ambala

After a letter to blow up the Indian Air Force station in Ambala was received by authorities on August 22, a fresh call input was provided by an unknown caller regarding the plan to blow the Ambala railway station. Meanwhile, as a precaution and to ensure safety security has been beefed up at the Ambala railway station.

Ambala:The Government Railway Police (GRP) on Tuesday received a call from an unknown woman regarding the plan to blow the railway tracks of the Ambala railway station.

According to the reports, an unknown caller, hailing from Uttar Pradesh's Sahibabad was called the Ambala railway police. The unidentified woman said that she came to know that some miscreants are planning to blow the railway tracks.

An FIR was lodged by the police and the case has been sent to Crime Branch for further investigation.

Meanwhile, as a precaution and to ensure safety security has been beefed up at the Ambala railway station.

However, the identification of the unknown caller is yet to be known.

Earlier on August 22, in a similar case, a letter to blow up the Indian Air Force station in Ambala, Haryana, where the first batch of five Rafale aircraft are stationed, was received by authorities.
