Ambala (Haryana):Security across several railway stations in the state has been heightened after the terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad purportedly threatened to blow them up.
The threat was made via a letter addressed to the Station Superintendent of Ambala railway station BS Gill, who in turn confirmed the news saying, "...the letter warned to blow up several railway stations and religious places 'to avenge the atrocities against Muslims by Hindus'".
Gill further relayed the information to GRP DSP Madan Lal on Tuesday morning, and the letter included the details of destroying railway stations of Ambala, Panipat, Karnal, Sonipat, Delhi and Haryana on May 16.
