Nurses beat up doctor for harassing female staff

A doctor in Panchkula has been trounced after he allegedly sexually harassed a staff nurse at the civil hospital in the city. An FIR has been registered against him and also an inquiry initiated to unearth the truth.

Panchkula: A doctor, who has been accused of sexually harassing a staff nurse, was punished by nurses at the civil hospital here.

The incident occurred when the nurse was on duty in an isolation ward of the civil hospital situated in Sector 6 and the doctor, on finding her alone in the ward, started harassing her sexually.

The nurse informed the hospital authorities about the incident and as other nurses came to know about the incident they trounced the doctor. They hurled blows at the doctor and tore his shirt.

Later, an FIR was also lodged against the doctor and an inquiry initiated.
