Jhajjar (Haryana): Naib Subedar Ravindra Kumar who was killed on Friday in Pakistani shelling in Nowshera sector in Jammu and Kashmir will be cremated with full state honours on Sunday at his native village in Jhajjar in Haryana.
Martyred jawan to be cremated with state honours today The mortal remains of the martyr have been kept at the X Service League office in Priya Colony of Jhajjar.
The entire village is in shock and pal of gloom had descended on it after hearing the news yesterday. The tears yelled the eyes of villagers are waiting for the body of the brave soldier.
On Saturday, preparations were made for the last rites of the martyr Ravindra.
The brave soldier had shown exemplary courage during the Kargil war also and the whole village is proud of his martyrdom.
Meanwhile, the gram panchayat has decided to cremate the martyr on the land where earlier the cremation of two others jawans took place for which the land had been cleaned and the whole village is waiting for their beloved to bid him a final goodbye.
