Chandigarh: Haryana Congress leader Deepender Singh Hooda on Saturday lashed out at Khattar-led government for failing to implement one of its topmost poll promises related to old age pension made ahead of the Assembly elections.
Speaking to media, Hooda said that Khatter-led government has failed to keep its poll promises and betrayed people of the state.
"The BJP had promised a monthly pension of Rs 3,100 and the JJP had promised Rs 5,100 from the current Rs 2,000. But the government betrayed the people of the state by increasing only Rs 50 in the existing pension," said Hooda.
