Keshav Aggarwal gets AIR 5 in JEE Advanced 2020

Keshav Aggarwal resident of Sector-47 of Gurugram, Haryana brought laurels to the state as has secured the fifth position in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced and topped Haryana by scoring 329 out of 396 marks.

Gurugram: Keshav Aggarwal, resident of Sector-47 of Gurugram, has secured the fifth position in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced and topped Haryana by scoring 329 out of 396 marks.

Keshav's scored 97.6 per cent number in 10th and 95 per cent in 12th. His father Naveen Aggarwal is a software engineer.

Naveen Aggarwal said his son worked hard, it seemed that Keshav would definitely get this success. The test result on Monday proved our belief true. Keshav had made up his mind while studying in the ninth grade that he would do engineering from IIT.

In an exclusive conversation with ETV Bharat, Keshav revealed his success mantra, he shared ''I was initially very shocked and surprised to see my result I used to study around 12 hours a day. After coaching classes, I dedicated my time to self-study. My coaching faculties inspired me to work hard.''

About taking the exam during Covid-19 crisis, he said, “The decision on holding exam was hanging in balance which made me more anxious but I tried not to get affected by it.''

''I am very happy with his success, although Keshav did not expect such a good rank. Apart from taking coaching from FIITJEE, Keshav has been studying by taking breaks instead of studying continuously said Ajay, Keshav's Teacher.

Keshav, a student of DPS Sector 45, has worked hard throughout the day for this exam. Keshav attributes this success to his parents and teachers. Delhi-based Indian Institute of Technology (IIT, Delhi) Delhi released the results of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advance on its official website on Monday. Students participating in the examination can see the exam results on the website of JEE Advanced http://result.jeeadv.ac.in.

The examination was conducted on 27 September at 1001 examination centres in 222 cities of the country that took place during the Corona period. In this, a total of 302,211 students took the examination.

Keshav Aggarwal said that he has got this success by regular studies and wants to do engineering from IIT Bombay and aspires to become a scientist in the future.
