Rewari (Haryana): With the lockdown just not affecting human lives, but also rendering street dogs helpless without food, a group of youngsters in Haryana's Rewari have come up with the noble initiative of feeding the hapless animals everyday.
Braving the COVID-19 threat, Monika and Vaibhav drive their bike to the markets every day and buy 100 litres of milk and 100 packets of biscuits with their own money.
The two BSc students are part of a group of 7-8 youngsters, who make it a point to feed helpless street dogs twice a day.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Monika said that before the lockdown, when all schools and offices remained open, many people would feed the strays while going to work or on their way back home.
