Hisar: After a spate of fire-related tragedies in the state, the government has decided to inspect all the institutions within one month.

"Within one-month checking will be conducted in all such places and action will be taken against those institutions who are running their offices illegally without proper arrangements made for fire safety," former education minister Rambilas Sharma said.

The fire extinguishers in the secretariat of Hisar district have not been refilled since the last three-four years. The four-storey building is not having proper fire safety services.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, the district deputy commissioner Ashok Meena said, "I don't know when these cylinders were last refilled."

He assured that departmental action will be taken against the officials who have been careless in this matter.
