Yamuna Nagar:Mumtaz Ali, a resident of Yamunanagar, interacted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually over the launch of SVAMITVA and thanked him for a loan of Rs 3 lakhs on the basis of a property card. Ali had received an invitation from the PM's office where PM Modi had a word with people of different states about the Svamitva scheme.
A mechanic by profession, Mumtaz was excited about this programme and said that PM Modi asked about his health, family and business.
When PM asked Mumtaz that will he invest in his children's education., he became emotional and said, "My children are still studying and no matter what happens, I will educate them."
Yamunanagar is one of the eleven villages in Haryana where people have got ownership letters for their houses and work of registration has also been completed.
Talking to ETV Bharat, he said, "I had registered for 100 yards plot. This land was inside the red cord. My village secretary told me that my name has been fixed for talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding Svamitva scheme.
Mumtaz told that he works as a mason and money from that is his family's livelihood. They have a son and a daughter and want to make them officer by giving them a better education.
