The group aims at liberating Punjab from India's occupation. The threats of Pannu have been seen as a warning for the Haryana government. In case Punjab gets liberated from India, Haryana would go with it given its associations with the state.

Earlier on June 28, Delhi Police arrested KLF members for setting up a training camp in western Uttar Pradesh.

Initial interrogation revealed that the a number of Uttar Pradesh politicians were on the hit list of the Khalistan Liberation Front (KLF).

The KLF members, identified as Gurtej Singh (41) and Lovepreet (21), told the ATS team that they were planning to execute targeted killings in northern states.
