Chandigarh:After Punjab, Haryana came at the target of Khalistan Liberation Front, a banned group as its head Gurpatwant Singh Pannu threatened the residents of state, demanding their support for his cause. State Home Minister Anil Vij on Wednesday assured immediate action against the KLF in this regard.
Pannu had been found to be gathering people's support for Referendum 2020 for the formation of Khalistan.
He earlier targeted residents of Punjab and has now proceeded to Haryana with the same motive.
Pannu claimed in his message that the people of Haryana always stood against the interests of Punjab and Sikhs.
"It is an attempt to spoil peace and brotherhood between the people of both the states. Any attempt to make peace with him will not be tolerated," said Anil Vij.
Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has been operating a pro-Khalistan group by the name of 'Sikhs for Justice' from America. In recent weeks, he has been trying to threaten people via a recorded phone call.
