Goa police, govt fully co-operating with CBI: North Goa SP

Porvorim (Goa): Shobhit Saxena, SP, North Goa talked to the media on September 17 regarding the handover of Sonali Phogat death case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Sonali Phogat was allegedly murdered in Goa on August 23.

He said, “Goa police and government fully co-operating with CBI. Police were conducting the objective investigation in the case, now we're handing case file containing statements and evidence to CBI, the process is ongoing,” said Shobhit Saxena, SP North Goa, on Sonali Phogat's death case transfer to CBI “We've kept the issue of drugs on top priority, launched 2 awareness campaigns in last 2 weeks where we're distributing pamphlets to people in tourist regions, approaching schools and colleges to spread awareness, keeping vigilance on parties,” he added.
