Battle Sonipat: Its Digvijay Chautala Vs Bhupinder Singh Hooda

Jannayak Janta Party's chief and founder Dushyant Chautala on Monday announced candidature of his brother Digvijay Singh Chautala from Haryana's Sonipat parliamentary constituency. He will be contesting against former state Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. Dushyant also announced candidature of Jai Bhagwan Sharma and Mehmood Khan from Kurukshetra and Gurugram, respectively. While Jannayak Janta Party has fielded their candidates from seven seats, their ally Aam Admi Party will be contesting on three seats.

New Delhi: With the electoral battle raging across India, Haryana's Sonipat parliamentary constituency is all set to witness a close fight between former state Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and former MP Ajay Chautala's youngest son Digvijay Singh Chautala.

Slamming both Congress and the BJP, Jannayak Janta Party's chief and founder Dushyant Chautala claimed that their alliance with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will provide a new opportunity to the people of Haryana away from caste line. He even claimed that, besides them, every other alliance candidate is below 40 years of age.

Dushyant also announced candidature of Jai Bhagwan Sharma and Mehmood Khan from Kurukshetra and Gurugram, respectively.

When asked about Digvijay's candidature, the party founder said, "He has worked hard. His performance speaks volumes about it. I am sure he will emerge victorious."

While Jannayak Janta Party has fielded their candidates from seven seats, their ally Aam Admi Party will be contesting on three seats.

Aam Admi Party Haryana chief Naveen Jaihind will be contesting from Faridabad. On the other hand, Dushyant will be contesting from Hisar.
