AAP-JJP alliance in Haryana will show good result: Ajay Chautala

Ajay Chautala who came out on a 21-day furlough from Tihar Jail to campaign for son Dushyant Chautala’s Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) said that AAP and JJP alliance will show good result in Haryana. Chautala said that there will be a core committee meeting in which the finalisation of candidates for the upcoming elections will be done.

Chandigarh: With the Lok Sabha elections in Haryana inching closer, Ajay Chautala who came out on a 21-day furlough from Tihar Jail to campaign for son Dushyant Chautala’s Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) said that coalition between Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and JJP in Haryana will reap benefits in the upcoming elections.

Chautala said, "Even under the unfavorable circumstances, the AAP government in Delhi provided facilities to the people of Delhi. The good governance of AAP in Delhi will also help people here."

When asked about the support from the people (for the alliance), he replied, "I will go and meet people tomorrow to know the real situation on the ground."

Chautala said that there will be a core committee meeting in which the finalisation of candidates for the upcoming elections will be decided.

When questioned who will be the contestant in Hisar against the BJP candidate Brijendra Singh, son of Union Minister Birender Singh, he said, " Both Hisar and Rohtak seat is crucial for us, we will soon decide the candidates. Even, Congress is yet to decide on the Hisar seat."
