Ahmedabad:The foundation stone for Kuldevi Maa Umiya, which is all set create a new record of world's tallest temple of the diety, will be held on Saturday (i.e. February 29).
The Vishwa Umiya Foundation will build what it claims would be the world’s tallest temple of Goddess Umiya, the deity of the clan for the Kadva Patidars, in Jaspur, on the SG Highway in Ahmedabad.
Designed by German and Indian architects, the temple is said to spread over an area of over 100 acres of land and it is presumed to be of a height of 431 feet (131 m).
