Petrol pumps in Ahmedabad city sell fuel at cheaper rates to corona warriors

Several petrol pumps in Ahmedabad city are charging two rupees less per litre of petrol and diesel from the doctors, fire brigade personnel, municipal corporation employees and other health department employees who are fighting day-night to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Ahmedabad: As a gesture of gratitude towards the Corona warriors, several petrol pumps in Ahmedabad city are charging two rupees less per litre of petrol and diesel from them.

The corona warriors included doctors, fire brigade personnel, municipal corporation employees and other health department employees.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, officials of the health department, police and the civic body are making day-night efforts in containing this disease.

Those filling diesel and petrol in their vehicles at these petrol pumps have welcomed this gesture saying these corona warriors deserve all praise for the service they are rendering even at the risk of their life.

This is a welcome gesture by the owners of the petrol pump against the backdrop where there is a sharp rise in the incidents of attacks on police, doctors and medical teams in some areas.
