TMC planning to enter Modi-Shah's stronghold in 2022 Assembly elections

Aam Aadmi Party has entered Gujarat. It seems that TMC is also making an entry before the 2022 elections, as TMC held a Martyrs' Day function in West Bengal, which was virtually witnessed by TMC activists in Ahmedabad. For the first time so far, TMC has organized a program in Gujarat, which is also a sign of the 2022 Assembly elections.

Ahmedabad: Aam Aadmi Party has entered Gujarat.

'Martyr's Day' is observed by TMC on July 21 in memory of its 11 activists who were shot dead in 1993. The program is organized by TMC on July 21 every year, but this year Gujarat has also been included in this year's program.

TMC workers virtually joined by launching a live program on a projector at a restaurant in Ahmedabad. With the TMC program being held for the first time in Gujarat, politics has heated up as West Bengal CM and TMC party President Mamta Banerjee is ready to enter PM Modi and HM Amit Shah's stronghold in the coming 2022 assemble elections. Earlier, banners for Mamata Banerjee's virtual meeting were also put up in several areas of Ahmedabad.

Jitendra Khadayata, convener of Gujarat TMC, while talking to ETV Bharat, said, "I got a call from TMC on the 17th, after which I was given the responsibility to celebrate Martyrs' Day in Gujarat." Hence, it was organised in Ahmedabad. The main objective of the meeting was to mark Martyrs' Day for the martyred workers in Bengal.

Banners were put up in several areas of Ahmedabad city on this occasion, but the corporation took them down. He further said, "I have been verbally assigned as the convener of Gujarat by TMC this Wednesday morning. The High Command has not yet given any guidelines on the forthcoming Assembly elections."

Many Bengali artisans are involved in the jewellery industry in Surat city. They have come to Surat from thousands of kilometres away for employment. New hope has dawned on them. Because, for the first time in Gujarat, posters of Mamata Banerjee were put up.

Bengalis residing in Gujarat also want Mamata Banerjee and her party to contest elections in Gujarat. Jamshed Ali, a native of Bengal who runs the Metro Medical Trust in Surat, told ETV Bharat that "Mamata Banerjee has done a great job for the poor in Bengal. Speaking of Surat, more than 2 lakh Bengalis live here. I am the president of the Bengali society. If Mamata Banerjee's party contests the elections in Gujarat, we will be very happy. They have been fighting for the truth, honesty, and rights of the poor in the country. We want Mamata Banerjee to come to Gujarat and contest the elections."

Shailesh Soni, another resident of West Bengal, says the way they have contested elections in West Bengal, they should contest elections in Gujarat as well. We have heard through the media that they have expressed their desire to contest elections in Gujarat in the 2022 assembly elections.
