Paresh Rawal backs Ahmedabad East candidate, says confident of his win

BJP leader Paresh Rawal was present to extend support to Ahmedabad East candidate Hasmukh Patel. Rawal said that he is confident of BJP's win.

Ahmedabad: Ahead of the 2019 General elections, veteran actor and BJP leader Paresh Rawal was seen extending support to BJP's Ahmedabad East candidate Hasmukh Patel.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, Rawal said that he is confident of BJP's win in the constituency. Describing Hasmukh as a deserving candidate, he said, "The BJP has pitched in the right candidate and he will definitely win."

On being asked about the Patidar factor that has been dominant in the Ahmedabad East seat with both BJP and Congress filing candidates from the community, a confident Rawal said, "We will win it."

Earlier, Paresh Rawal competed from the Ahmedabad East constituency in the 2014 General elections and won it for the BJP.
