Gujarat : Rajkot district BJP leader's husband molests two minor girl students, booked under POCSO

Two minor girl students were allegedly molested by BJP leader's husband in Gujarat. The accused is the administrator of the school where the students are studying.

​​Rajkot: Two minor girl students were allegedly molested by their school administrator, Dinesh Joshi. The complaint was lodged at police station in Navi Mangani village in Lodhika taluka area of ​​Rajkot district.

After registering the case, Lodhika police have initiated the probe. Joshi, BJP women's wing leader (Rajkot), is absconding.

Maharshi Rawal, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) of SC-ST cell in Rajkot village, said that a complaint has been lodged alleging sexual harassment of two minor students studying at Gyandeep School in Navi Mangani village.

The police have registered an offence against the accused under Section 354A (1) of the IPC and Sections 8 and 10 of the POCSO Act and Section 3 (F) (W) of the Atrocities Act and have started further investigation into the whole matter. Both the students are currently studying in class 9 in the school.

The police have initiated action to arrest the accused. The minor girls were molested six times between September 9 to October 1, added DySP.
