Gujarat: Five dead, 12 injured in road accident

Around five people lost their lives while 12 sustained injuries in a road accident in Gujarat's Mehsana on Wednesday. The injured immediately were taken to Vadnagar civil hospital.

Mehsana: In a tragic accident, five people were killed and 12 got injured in a road mishap while traveling from Malekpur to Siddhpur on Wednesday morning.

According to sources, the driver lost control of the jeep due to drowsiness and the car hit into the roadside bushes.

The police reached the spot as soon as they were informed by the locals.

The injured were taken to Vadnagar civil hospital immediately.

The investigation into the matter is underway.
