Anand (Gujarat): The managing director of Ray Proactive Solutions in Vitthal Udyog Nagar of Anand district, and his two brothers have come up with an additive which inactivates all types of microbes. This additive is used as a coating on non-woven fabrics to make PPE suit.

In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, Siddharth Doshi said that his team has developed a new type of PPE kit using a special type of additive for lamination to protect all medical staff from the virus.

Following the approval of Gujarat State Medical Services Limited (GSMCL) of the Government of Gujarat, production of PPE kits for front line corona warriors has already started with a capacity of 2500 units per day.

Siddharth Doshi said he had urged government as well as private sector organizations and research institutes to provide a stronger defence shield to the first-line corona warriors. He also appealed to the research institutes of the country and the world to study this PPE kit further and make other necessary changes to make it better.

After getting information about the special PPE kit developed by Siddharth Doshi, Anand district MP Mitesh Patel welcomed the innovation and said it would be easier to win the war against corona if people associated with the industries in the country joined hands with their engineering and technical know-how.

He thanked Doshi and his team for this innovation and appealed to the citizens to follow the government guidelines for protection against coronavirus.
