Mehsana (Gujarat):Various organisations joined hands to distribute food packets in cyclone Vayu affected areas on Friday.
Food packets distributed in Cyclone vayu affected areas of Gujarat A high alert was declared due to congestion of the coastal areas, including Dwarka. Considering the potential impact of the cyclone, the locals were transferred to safer places.
Food packets were distributed by various religious and social organisations.
A total of 20,800 food packets were distributed by them in the affected areas.
Though the cyclone has changed its course, coastal areas remain under alert.
