Junagadh: While the entire world is in a virtual lockdown due to the threat of coronavirus pandemic, trying to save their lives, some people are utilising the lockdown period to experiment with new things.
Some people are doing yoga and pranayama, while some others are playing indoor games. There are also some people who are trying the ancient Indian practice of ‘mud therapy’ to protect the health of their family members.
In Junagadh, some people are trying to revive ancient traditions during the lockdown. How far these ancient practices will prove to be successful can be known later sometime.
In ancient India, people used mud therapy to get rid of certain diseases. Today, such a mud therapy is rare to be seen. However, one still finds mud houses in villages with floors also made of mud. In Europe, many countries celebrate mud festival with millions participating in it.
