The march started from the Red Fort to parliament street, raising slogans against the Modi government. The protest is led by left party affiliated students' group and JNU student's union president N Sai Balaji. The main objective of this protest is to introduce better employment opportunities and education to youths.
'Yuva Adhikar March' to mobilise youth against Modi government
New Delhi: Trouble mounted for Modi government after thousands of youth from various universities across the national capital gathered for 'Yuva Adhikar March' on Friday to protest against unemployment and crisis in higher education.
MP Dharmendra Yadav, DMK Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozi and various Samajwadi party leaders also participated in the dharna and addressed the gathering. The protest which was organised to address issues pertaining to jobs and higher education later turned into a political debate. Many major leaders including former JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar and Gujarat Independent MLA Jignesh Mewani were also present and supported the march.
