Woman attacked with chemical substance in New Delhi

New Delhi:A woman was allegedly attacked with a chemical substance at one of the busiest railway stations in the national capital on Saturday.

According to reports, the incident occurred at the Ajmer gate railway station and the accused is absconding since the attack. The victim was rushed to Lok Nayak Jayaprakash hospital for treatment from where she was referred to Guru Nanak Eye Center due to wounds sustained in the eye.

The police are currently investigating the incident.
