The women at the Press Conference questioned the BJP's stand on the Sabarimala issue alleging that while they talk about 'Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao' their government is actually women repressive.

The women also questioned the stand taken by the Narendra Modi government on the triple Talaq issue and said that it does not actually benefit the Muslim women of the society.

The organisations said that bringing a secular, democratic front to rule the country would be the biggest challenge and also said that the RSS BJP dominated Modi government in last 5 years has hurt communities like the minorities, backwards and the women.

The women organisations further plan to have a state wise campaign against the ruling Narendra Modi government going across India and spreading a message for a "secular" party to be brought to power in the 2019 elections.
