New Delhi:Vehicle registration during August 2020 fell by 37% in the national capital with the Indian economy continue to battle with COVID-19.
As per data released by the apex body of the automobile retail industry in India, as many as 37,942 vehicles were registered in July which fell down to 24,714 vehicles in August.
The data shows that a total of 1,856 vehicles, including two-wheelers and four-wheelers, were registered during the lockdown in April.
After this, there was an increase in the registration of vehicles. 8,861 vehicles were registered in May, 31,887 in June and 37,942 vehicles in July at different regional transport offices.
