New Delhi: Delhi Police have arrested two criminals, who have a number of cases of loot and robbery registered against them in various police stations of the city, official sources said.
They said the special cell of the outer district received a tip-off that some criminals would be in the area. A police team, led by ACP Subhash Vats, was constituted and it caught the two from near Sunni Masjid. The two have been identified as Suraj, a graduate and sportsperson with a gold medal in Taekwondo, and Rohit alias Jigra, the police said, adding that two country-made guns and four live cartridges were also recovered from them.
The two criminals have dozens of cases registered against them and the police were searching for them.
