There should be no reservations over CBI probe in Sushant death case: BJP

New Delhi: Expressing confidence in the CBI taking over Sushant Singh Rajput death case, BJP MLC Sanjay Mayukh has said there should be no reservations on the probe as it would uncover everything.

Interacting with the ETV Bharat here, the BJP leader said he does not understand why people were against the CBI probe in the case.

"I don't understand why people have reservations over the CBI probe into the matter...let it be done," he said, adding that the way Shiv Sena has been commenting on the issue, proves that there's something wrong.

"I want to ask how Sanjay Raut knows that there was a problem between the two. How did he get this information? Has he been that close with the family," the BJP leader asked.

On being asked if Bihar government was trying to divert the attention of the people by raising the issue of actor Rajput's death, Mayukh said: "nobody should indulge in politics over such issues".
