New Delhi:Commenting on Opposition leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav's announcement to take out ‘Dhanyavad Yatra’ across the state after January 15, Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) leader Madhaw Anand on Tuesday said the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader cannot become Bihar Chief Minister unless he manages to be blessed by the upper caste.
"The decision to take out the Yatra may be Tejashwi's personal thought or his party men's strategy, it will not be any use to them. The people won't listen to them and the traditional vote bank of RJD has been breached," Anand said.
He added that the people from the upper caste are not with Tejashwi and to bring them to his side, RJD would need to adopt a new strategy.
In the Bihar Assembly elections, the RLSP, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) alliance got a lot of votes from Yadav, Muslim society.
