New Delhi:Eventhough educational institutions are closed amidst the COVID -19 pandemic, few students who stayed in Jawaharlal Nehru University hostels got into a fight and one student is reported to be injured from the clash.

Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union held Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) responsible.

N Sai Balaji, former president of JNUSU, tweeted that 16 ABVP workers attacked Vivek brutally with an iron rod. They misbehaved with a female counsellor who tried to save Vivek. The same students attacked teachers and students on January 5, added Balaji in the tweet. Yet, Delhi police have not taken any action against them.
