New Delhi: Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, who is undergoing treatment at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital here for stomach infection, would not address the proposed election rally on February 5 as she has been advised rest by doctors.
Sonia Gandhi not to address election rally due to ill health According to reports, she is suffering from stomach infection and has been advised rest, hence the Congress chief would not be able to participate in the election rally to be held on February five in Shastri Park area of the national capital. Gandhi, who could not attend the Union budget presentation in Parliament on Saturday because of the illness, was admitted to the hospital on Sunday evening after she complained of uneasiness and stomach ache.
Meanwhile, other senior leaders of the party have been addressing rallies urging people to vote for the Congress.
