New Delhi: Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu resigned from the state cabinet headed by Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Sunday. Bharatiya Janata Party commented on his resignation and said that his presence or absence in the party hardly matters.

BJP 's National General Secretary Anil Jain said that Sidhu's resignation has no impact on the saffron party and it didn't have to do anything with the resignation. He also went on to accuse Congress of being a failure and directionless as it has no leader at present.

In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, BJP's National General Secretary Anil Jain said that Congress is witnessing turmoil since the day Rahul Gandhi resigned.
Around 50 days have passed but Congress is unable to select their President. He also questioned the party's ability to work for people when the party is functioning leaderless.
