New Delhi: Section 144 has been imposed outside the Supreme Court following the protest by lawyers and women activists against the procedure adopted by the three-judge panel, led by Justice SA Bobde, to deal with the harassment case against CJI Ranjan Gogoi.
Women lawyers and activists today held a protest outside the Supreme Court.
Following the protest, Section 144 has been imposed outside the Supreme Court.
As of now, most of the protestors have been detained and taken to the police station.
Security has also been increased outside the Supreme Court’s premises.
