New Delhi: Five-star hotels, which were converted into COVID Care centres in view of the increasing number of the infected people in the national capital, are being restored as the shortage of hospital beds is no longer an issue for coronavirus patients.
Four hotels, situated in south Delhi, have been detached and are being restored fully to resume their original work.
Vivanta in Dwarka, Piccadily of Janakpuri, Pride Plaza Hotel, Aerocity and WelcomHotel in Dwarka Sector 10 are the ones which have been detached from the list of COVID care centres as only 25 out of total 900 rooms dedicated to COVID care were booked during the past 15 days and the rest remained empty, sources said.
