New Delhi: Expressing happiness over Prime Minister Narendra Modi laying the foundation stone of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya on Wednesday, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Ashwini Kumar Choubey has said it would also help in emergence of "cultural nationalism" of India, which believes in "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakkam” (world is one family).

Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Ashwini Kumar Choubey downplayed anti-Ram Mandir statements by All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi, saying 'Ram Sabke hain' (Lord Ram belongs to all) and he will bless all with wisdom.

Saying that it was a historic moment for the country, the minister, referring to anti-Ram Mandir statements from All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi, said no politically motivated utterances should be made on the occasion.
Choubey said Ram belongs to everyone and the Prime Minister is leading the country with the spirit of "Ram Rajya".
Owaisi, hours before the foundation laying ceremony in Ayodhya, tweeted saying, "Babri masjid was, is and will remain."
