New Delhi/Ghaziabad: Amid heavy rainfall in Delhi since Saturday morning, tents at the various sites associated with the farmers' protest along the Delhi border, including the Ghazipur border, encountered waterlogging. The issue has created a lot of problems for agitating farmers.
Despite heavy rains, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait, along with Mangeram Tyagi, NCR president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, visited the protest site and took stock of the situation.
Tikait said that the farmers are accustomed to living in all seasons and will not be troubled by heat, cold and rain.
