Rakesh Sinha expresses happiness as govt agrees for bridge in Begusarai

BJP MP Rakesh Sinha has expressed satisfaction over his proposed bridge in Begusarai getting approval from the union government. He also thanked Union Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari for considering his demand.

New Delhi: BJP Rajya Sabha MP Rakesh Sinha has expressed gratitude towards Union Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari for considering his demand for a bridge over the Ganga river in Begusarai's Matihani-Shamho and getting it approved by the union government.

Earlier in the day, Gadkari wrote a letter to inform Sinha that the proposal to build a bridge over the Ganga river in the proposed region has been accepted by the central government.

Responding to the "good news", Sinha thanked the Union Minister and expressed hope that the construction work would start soon.

The BJP Rajya Sabha MP also said that the proposed bridge over the Ganga river would help lakhs of people, especially the farmers, who would be able to take their produce to the market.

Similarly, the distance among various cities would be reduced and people from neighbouring states would also be able to use it to enter Bihar.
