Former Union Ministers Surjit Kumar Jyani and Harjit Singh Grewal held a discussion with the PM for over 70 minutes at his residence.
Talking to ETV Bharat, Former union minister Jyani said he is an old acquaintance of the PM and in the meeting, Modi Ji asked about our old member. He added that people are spreading rumors regarding the three agriculture bills that the farmers will be at a great loss, corporates will snatch their lands away and MSPs will not be given to them.
"Since the movement does not have a face, it becomes difficult to hold a dialogue with them. The government wants the protests to end soon as the winter is getting worse day by day and farmers should go back home," said Jyani.
"The farmers' union should elect one or more leaders to negotiate with the government," Jyani suggested.
