New Delhi:Centre is mulling for a stringent law up to the level of a non-bailable warrant for the culprits involved in attacking doctors and vandalizing hospitals.
In the first inter-ministerial committee meeting, all the members have reportedly called for common central law.
In conversation with ETV Bharat, Dr RV Ashokan, Secretary General of Indian Medical Association (IMA) said: "All the ten members present in the meeting opined for a central law. The law ministry also remarked that it was feasible to have a law for this purpose under the concurrent list."
