New Delhi:Justifying PM Modi's remark on EX-PM Rajiv Gandhi as a 'corrupt' leader, Union Minister Prakash Javedkar supported his statement and said that the 'dynasts' were not able to handle the popularity of the Prime Minister and were baffled over him being the PM for the past 5 years.
Javedkar, here, accused Rahul Gandhi of abusing the PM for the entire year and making false and baseless claims of Rafale deal and said that now when the PM (after a long time) has responded and spoken the truth, there was so much chaos among the dynasty.
Reiterating Modi's statement, he said: "What wrong did he say? Rajiv Gandhi died as a 'corrupt person', since he was not given a clean chit in the Bofors scam. He supported the killing of Sikhs in the 1984 riots that reflected in his statement," he added.
