New Delhi: Amidst the tight fight for the Delhi elections, Congress workers somewhere feel that their party is lagging behind. Congress leader Jagdish Sharma has accused the party of not electing proper leaders for the party's representation. He further said that the party has failed to learn a lesson from the last elections. Sharma said that party made a big mistake in this election by giving tickets to the same party candidates who failed to grab even a single seat in last polls.
The counting of votes for the Delhi Assembly elections has started and all eyes are set on the national capital. Going by the initial trends, the ruling incumbent Aam Aadmi Party is leading in 51 seats with heavy votes. Its opposition BJP is also ahead in 19 seats while Congress has failed drawing a blank.
