Poll Alert: Congress leader Jagdish Sharma accuses party of bargaining tickets

Congress leader Jagdish Sharma has accused Congress of not electing proper leaders for the party's representation. He further said that the party has failed to learn a lesson from the last elections. Accusing the Congress leader PC Chacko, Jagdish Sharma said that as the last time, this year too bargaining of tickets has have taken place in Delhi.

New Delhi: Amidst the tight fight for the Delhi elections, Congress workers somewhere feel that their party is lagging behind. Congress leader Jagdish Sharma has accused the party of not electing proper leaders for the party's representation. He further said that the party has failed to learn a lesson from the last elections. Sharma said that party made a big mistake in this election by giving tickets to the same party candidates who failed to grab even a single seat in last polls.

The counting of votes for the Delhi Assembly elections has started and all eyes are set on the national capital. Going by the initial trends, the ruling incumbent Aam Aadmi Party is leading in 51 seats with heavy votes. Its opposition BJP is also ahead in 19 seats while Congress has failed drawing a blank.

Slamming the Congress leader PC Chacko, Jagdish Sharma said that as the last time, this year too bargaining of tickets has taken place in Delhi. Chacko should himself resign from the party. Not only this, but the party should also take strict action and suspend him.

While speaking to ETV Bharat, Jagdish Sharma told that Congress may not emerge victorious due to lack of efficient leaders. Unless the party removes him from his post, it's difficult for Congress to win in Delhi.
