Man arrested for allegedly raping 4-year-old daughter

New Delhi:A man has been arrested for allegedly raping his four-year-old daughter in Prahladpur area in Delhi.

The incident took place in October when the four-year-old girl was living with her parents in Prahladpur.

Although the girl's mother tried to file a police complaint, the man assaulted her and threatened her of 'consequences'.

Later, the girl was sent away to her maternal home where her grandmother filed a police complaint.

Police have registered a case and arrested the accused man.

Earlier, a 16-year-old rape victim gave birth to a baby on the terrace of her house in north Delhi after she was raped by a 60-year-old man.

The girl lives with her mother who works as domestic help. The accused allegedly raped her eight to nine months ago, they said.
