New Delhi [India]: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that the pharmaceuitcal and automobile industries were growing at a fast pace in the country as India's economy has been throwing many growth opportunities for the young generation in multiple sectors. PM Modi addressed Rashtriya Rozgar Mela virtually after distributing over 51,000 appointment letters to newly-inducted recruits in government departments and organisations today.
The Prime Minister said that along with the pharma and automobile sectors, tourism was also holding out immense opportunities and it is likely to contribute over Rs 20 lakh crore to the Indian economy by 2030. As many as 13 to 14 crore new jobs may be created in the tourism sector for the youth as part of this, the PM said. The Rozgar Mela was held at 45 locations across the country and the PM delivered his message through a video-conference.
"India will become one of the world's top three economies in this decade," Modi asserted, saying that he would shoulder the responsibility to ensure that the country would achieve this. Modi further said that the newly-appointed recruits were like ‘Amrit Rakshaks’ because they would serve the country in their new capacity for the next 25 years.
