New Delhi: In an unprecedented move, Pakistan Military on Thursday decided to cut its defence budget for the upcoming financial year amidst growing financial constraints.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Former Brigadier PK Khanna(Retd.) claimed that Pakistan Army's reputation has been going down and their clout in the government is reducing.
"Pakistan has decided to cut down the military budget. After the Pulwama incident and Balakot strike there has been lot of financial constraints on Pakistan, especially after the civilian government led by Imran Khan imposed austerity measures to rebuild the ailing economy, " Khanna said.
"Deployment of armed forces in the frontier has cost them," he added.
