New Delhi: Around 800 people quarantine in Maujpur after doctor tests positive

At least 800 people were quarantined in Maujpur area of New Delhi after they came in contact with a doctor who works in a Mohalla clinic and was tested positive for Coronavirus.

New Delhi:Around 800 people were quarantined in Maujpur area of New Delhi after they came in contact with a doctor who works in a Mohalla clinic and was tested positive for Coronavirus.

The quarantined people include the people who visited the Mohalla clinic for treatment.

The people of the area have been advised to stay at home and if anyone has the symptoms of the virus, then they should contact the nearest hospital for proper treatment.

Significantly, a woman and her daughter who were corona positive had come for their checkup a few days ago at a Mohalla clinic in Maujpur area.

The Shahdara Sub-Divisional Magistrate has ordered that all those who visited or were present at the mohalla clinic in Mohanpuri area of Maujpur between March 12 and March 18 must stay in home quarantine for 15 days. They were asked to immediately contact the control room in case they display any virus-related symptoms.

The entire area has been sealed and is being sanitized and it is also being checked how many people came in contact with the doctor during the time.

The number of total positive cases stands at 35 in the national capital.
