Mission Shakti: Ram Vilas Paswan is all praise for Modi

Lok Janshakti Party Chief Ram Vilas Paswan congratulated PM Modi along with DRDO and ISRO for the successful execution of Mission Shakti. The operation was a part of the pre-planned test, the scientists of the country had destroyed a satellite in low earth orbit.

New Delhi:Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s surprise announcement of the successful conclusion of Mission Shakti with 'kudos' for Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Paswan said, "India has become the fourth country to enter the elite space club after America, Russia and China. The operation was difficult to achieve, however, an anti-satellite weapon A-SAT successfully targeted a live satellite on a low earth orbit."

He further said that Mission Shakti is an important step towards securing India’s safety, economic growth and technological advancement. There is no need to question the timing of the announcement.
