New Delhi: As the clock strikes 6 in the evening, poor people in the vicinity of Jama Masjid rush to Kabutar Market to get free Iftar. Arranged by Abid Ali, a travel agency owner, this free Iftar runs for a whole month during Ramadan.
In the month of Ramzan, Muslims do not consume food or water from dawn to dusk. However, in the evening they break their fast. Minutes before 6 pm people congregate at the decorated 'Iftari' and wait for the Iftar siren, and later they break their fast.
