People angry over jawans killings amid Bilawal's visit: Kejriwal

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal took on the BJP government at the Centre by expressing concern over how a warm welcome is being given to Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto on his tour to India while the country's soldiers are dying in the fight with terrorists.

New Delhi : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that there is a lot of pain and anger among the people here that while our soldiers are getting martyred in encounters, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan has embarked on a tour of India. On Friday, 5 army soldiers were martyred in an encounter with terrorists in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir.

On this, CM Kejriwal has retweeted AAP MP Sanjay Singh's tweet taking objection to the Modi government's extending a warm welcome to Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto. In his tweet, Kejriwal deplored that our Indian soldiers are being martyred and all the countrymen are angry and pained by the central government engaging with the Pakistani foreign minister.

AAP's attack on the Centre came after 2 Indian soldiers were killed in the encounter with the terrorists on Friday morning and 3 more were shot dead in the afternoon. After this encounter, there is a lot of anger among the people over the Pakistani Foreign Minister and they are venting it out on social media.

Amidst this, AAP MP Sanjay Singh expressed his anger by tweeting a message that while our soldiers are being martyred in the fight with terrorists, our Prime Minister Modi is taking Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto on a trip to Goa. Having said this, Sanjay Singh saluted and paid rich tribute to the brave martyrs.

Earlier, Bilawal Bhutto reached the ongoing SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation) meeting in Panaji, Goa. In the meeting there, India's Foreign Minister Jaishankar said that terrorism is a big threat to the world. Amidst this, a 10-15 second video is doing the rounds on social media, in which it is being claimed that the Indian Foreign Minister did not shake hands with the Foreign Minister of Pakistan. Regarding this, it is being said that India's stand is not going to be soft towards Pakistan.
